Sunrise Companionship Inc. was founded by husband-and-wife team William Casey and Puntiva Aung, who share one passion: providing compassionate, reliable, and professional care that feels like family.
William Casey
Founder & Owner
Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, William moved to Alberta at the age of 21 to build a better future. After completing his Health Care Aide training, he dedicated his career to caring for seniors.
During his years in health care, William saw firsthand how meaningful compassionate care could be. He also recognized that many seniors deserved more personalized attention and support than they were receiving. Those experiences inspired him to build a company where clients would always be treated with dignity, patience, and respect.
Today, William continues to lead Sunrise Companionship Inc. with the belief that every client deserves to feel valued, heard, and cared for like family.
Puntiva Aung
Co-Founder | Operations & HR Manager
Originally from Thailand, Puntiva moved to Canada with her parents at the age of 22. Raised in a hardworking farming family, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management before discovering her passion for health care.
As a single mother of two, she worked hard to provide for her children while building a career dedicated to helping others. Becoming a Health Care Aide allowed her to combine compassion with purpose.
Her close relationship with her parents taught her the importance of family, especially when loved ones live far away. That experience inspires the way she cares for every client—with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion.
As Co-Founder and Operations & HR Manager, Puntiva oversees daily operations, supports the caregiving team, and helps ensure every client receives exceptional, personalized care.
