Our Story
Sunrise Companionship Inc. was created from our family’s passion for helping others feel cared for, supported, and connected. As a simple family with three children, we learned the true value of compassion, love, and being there for one another through life’s challenges.
Seeing families stay close to their loved ones inspired us to want the same care, love, and support for our own parents as they grow older.
My wife, originally from Thailand, comes from a loving and supportive family who stood by her through difficult times, helping shape her into the strong and caring woman she is today. I was raised in Newfoundland by a loving family, with a strong mother who taught me kindness and resilience, and a father who has always been my peaceful support.
The name “Sunrise” comes from my wife’s Thai name, which means sunrise — a symbol of hope, warmth, and new beginnings.
After seeing how many seniors and individuals experience loneliness, we created Sunrise Companionship Inc. to provide compassionate companionship services for individuals and families across Alberta.

What started with a simple goal to help others has continued to grow into a trusted and caring organization focused on connection, dignity, and meaningful support.

We also continue to grow by supporting motivated individuals who want to build meaningful careers and business opportunities through our Expansion Partner Program
